2 Cases of Hemolytic Anemia due to Irregular Antibodies in Multitransfused Hemodialysis Patients

Abstract

|
To patiens underwent maintenance hemodialysis developed hemolytic anemia due to irregular antibodies. Antibodies were detected by irregular antibody identification test at an antiglobulin phase. The sensitivities of antibodies were identified as
anti-c
antibody in case 1, and anti-E antibody in cased in case 2, respectively. Both patients had previous multiple transfusions history during the maintenance hemodialysis. Occasionally, hemolytic anemia due to irregular antibody can threaten
patient's
life,
so special caution will be necessary for transfusion. Here we report two cases of hemolytic anemia due to irregualr antibodies in mulltitransfus4ed hemodialysis patients with brief refiew of literatures.
